The Church

Mission statement: "Sanctify us by the truth the word is truth" (John 17:17)

Evangelical sanctified church was founded by Pastor Jean Andre Carlo. This church is currently in two locations in United Sates (Columbus, OH and Indianapolis, IN) and nearly 9 locations in Haiti. He is also the overseer of both churches and Pastor Bobby Winter is the pastor of the church in Indiana. It is vitally important to have a church where the Haitian people can worship in their language, especially when they are in places where their people are in minority comparing to other cities such as Miami, Boston, and New York

Our goal is to make sure that God's people cultivate the virtue of sanctification that is so demanding of God, yet ignored in our Christian world today. The bible says, in 1 Peter 1:16, "be holy because I am holy." It's amazing that our church today is so focus on what the promises of God, and ignore the very key that unlocks these promises which is Holiness.

Our ministry is based on these four pillars: Sanctification, Faith, Love, and Unity, which can only be fulfilled when we humble ourselves under the operation of the Holy Spirit to provide Salvation, transformation, Deliverance, and to pursue fervently after God's presence through prayer and fasting. Many lives have been transformed over the years; you can also be part of this transformation in many ways.

Our Mission is to preach and teach the unadulterated word of God to all ethnic groups, primarily to Haitian community. And to empower others to live a life that is pleasing unto God by exhibiting the gospel to all people in word and in deeds spiritually, socially, physically, and financially.

It is the plan of God to call out of the world a saved people who shall represent the body of the church of Jesus-Christ; Evangelical Sanctified Church is built and established upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus-Christ himself being the chief cornerstone (Ephesians 4 v 12, Matthew 28 v 19)

It is our commitment for our church members to excel in faith to grow, to live in unity to be strong, in love to support and forgive, to live in harmony and in sanctification to separate ourselves from the world, its sin and its iniquities.

Our Beliefs

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (1John 5:7).

1 John 5:7, For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate.(Matthew 1:23, John 1:1-14, Isaiah 9:6, Acts 1:9-11).

We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and therefore became lost. Only regeneration through the work of the Holy Spirit can man's salvation and spiritual life be obtained. (Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23)

We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man's works, and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe salvation is the grace of God received through faith with the belief in the sacrifices of our Lord Jesus. Salvation is received when an individual confesses Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This faith must be active as throughout one's life. The loss of faith will constitute in the lost of salvation (Romans 10:9, Matthew 24:13)

We believe faith is necessary for salvation while works is important for faith. Faith is to obtain the free gift. Works is to keep faith alive. No one can be saved if faith is dead (James 2:14-26)

We believe that baptism is by immersion, the Lord's Supper is a memorial to His suffering and His death on the cross and washing the feet of the Saints is a symbol of humility. These are ordinances to be observed by the church in its present age. However, they are not to be regarded as means for the salvation of man (Acts 2:38)

We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His Second Coming inspires believers for dynamic and zealous life and service for Him while waiting for His return. (1 Thessalonians 2:19-20, Hebrews 10:37)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven, and the everlasting punishment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell (Phil 3:20)

We believe the Bible is the sole Authority for the faith and practice of a true New Testament Church (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe in the autonomy of the local church. The church shall manage its own affairs and shall not be subject to any other religious body or organization.
